Julianna {Jules} Bright is a spiritual and creative coach in private practice in Portland, OR. Her affinity for working with punks in particular runs deep, and it’s personal. Her first punk performance was with her band The Rolling Studs, opening up for Pinhead Gunpowder in 1996. She went on to play drums and sing in bands with punk luminaries such as Sharon Cheslow, Riot Grrl progenitor Jen Smith, and her partner of 25 years, Seth Lorinczi. Her 2023 solo album Imaginal Discs documents a personal descent into her own spiritual underworld. Bright believes we’re animistic by nature, and that much of what ails us in the west is a by-product of our dislocation from one another, the path of initiation, the pursuit of creative purpose, and the sacred aliveness of the natural world.
